Biography:Frank Herrera is Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Internet Law Practice Group. He has extensive experience assisting clients in all areas of trademark and copyright law, whether prosecution, litigation, or transactional. He has handled numerous trademark, copyright, and patent cases before federal courts, state courts, appellate courts, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.Core to his practice, Mr. Herrera assists clients with their selection, adoption and registration of their trademarks and in the registration of copyrights. Mr. Herrera also has extensive experience in handling domestic and international trademark portfolios. Other aspects of Mr. Herrera’s practice include the interaction of United States Customs with intellectual property, counseling clients in dealing with manufacturers in China, and counseling clients as to the protection and maintenance of their trade secrets .
