He has previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy (Nova University Law School, 1984-1996) and has served as a Judge in National Trial Advocacy programs (N.I.T.A.). He is an active member of the Florida and New York Bars and admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh, Fifth and Fourth Circuits and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle District of Florida, District of Arizona and District of Nebraska. He has also been admitted to practice pro hac vice in over twenty five different Federal jurisdictions.

 
Mr. Nurik earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 1975 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, in 1972.

In addition, Mr. Nurik gives commentary on legal matters for local television and radio programs.
