Melissa can never be replaced. However, if we as professionals carry on her mission and her model of professionalism, then the profession as a whole will only improve.

Melissa earned the respect of not only her co-workers, partners, and associates, but of her opposing counsel as well. Her ability and candor before the court also earned her the respect of the Bench.
Even though she was a tough litigator, her adversaries always commented how it was a pleasure to litigate with Melissa as she epitomized excellence and professionalism.
